Eco committee News
As we enter the festive season children from the eco committee have been doing some research about the number of batteries that the average household buys. Over the Christmas period most houses will buy up to 30 batteries, many of them non rechargeable. This means that over 600 million batteries are thrown in to land fill each year. The eco team would like to remind you all that as a school we do collect old batteries and send them off to a proper recycling facility. Please collect any used batteries over Christmas and send them into school.
In Art, Year 5 and 6 have been learning about environmental artists and how they use their art to address concerns relating to the natural and urban environment.
