Modern Foreign Languages Plans
Under the new National Curriculum guidelines, we have decided as a school to concentrate on Spanish as a modern foreign language. To meet the expectations of the new curriculum, we have invested in the “I languages’ scheme of work. Initially, all year groups in KS2 started at the beginning of the scheme of work, but it is envisaged that older year groups will progress quickly through the scheme. Details of the scheme of work and also an exemplification of how the scheme meets the statutory programmes of study are available below.
