Kilham Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School

Learning is important and we try and make it fun. At our school we work very hard.

"Give instructions to a wise man and he will be even wiser." (Proverbs 9.9)

Our school is a caring school. We care for each other and the things around us.

"My command is this: Love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:12)

Encouraging friendship is a big part of our school. We enjoy playing and talking to each other.

"Encourage one another and build each other up." (Thessalonians 5.11)

Collective Worship

A daily act of worship, based on specific Christian values, is held in school and organised as follows:

Tuesday       Whole School Collective Worship

Wednesday Singing Worship

Thursday      Class Worship

 Friday           Achievement worship

As a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, we have a 'Collective Worship' policy which explains our Worship routines. This is available below.

Collective Worship Theme - PEACE. Children across school were involved in a worship looking at peace, a number of children helped to lead the worship and joined in.
