"Encourage one another and build each other up." (Thessalonians 5.11)
On Friday 18th May, we celebrated British values by having a “Celebration Day”! On Saturday 19th May, the whole country will be celebrating the marriage of HRH Prince Henry of Wales with Ms Megan Markle, and it’s the FA Cup final too! We thought it was a weekend worth celebrating!
The children had a special ’finger buffet’ picnic that day, consisting of sandwiches, sausage roll, slice of pizza, cocktail Sausages, carrot, cucumber sticks and tomato and a finger of plain and iced chocolate sponge. The weather was wonderful, and we all had a picnic outside!
The day was a non-uniform day for the children; we all wore red, white and blue!
The children also had a variety of ‘British Values’ themed activities in classrooms and we even held our own FA cup finals!
